Today I have a recipe for a super flavorful banana bread! Quick tip: if, like me, you decide to make this at the last minute and have to go buy unripe bananas, you can pop the bananas in a 375 degree oven for about 30-40 minutes or until the skins go black and the insides feel mushy and they’ll be perfectly ripened and soft for this bread!

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 stick butter

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • pinch salt

  • 1 3/4 cups flour

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a loaf pan.

Start by mashing your bananas into a paste. Set aside. In a bowl, cream together your eggs and butter until fluffy and creamy. Then, one at a time, crack in your eggs and combine thoroughly. Stir in the mashed bananas. Last, add in your sugar, baking soda, salt, and flour gradually until well combined. Fill your loaf pan with your bread batter. Bake for about 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean. Let cool for about 15 minutes before eating- if you can wait that long!
