These make for a super quick and super customizable snack! I love the crunch and the earthiness of the chickpeas after some time in the oven. 


  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder 
  • 1/4 tsp cumin

Start by draining all excess liquid from the chickpeas and rinsing. Spread them out onto some paper towels and roll around between layers to dry. Remove any skins that come loose. 

Spread the chickpeas onto a baking sheet and cover with the olive oil and salt. Mix to evenly coat the beans. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 25 minutes, stirring at the 15 minute mark. Meanwhile, combine your spices. 

Once out of the oven, toss with the spice mix and serve.
